Nordic Consulting Partners
As a Solutions Architect and Data Engineer at Nordic Global, I led the design and implementation of cloud-native data solutions to
modernize clients’ analytics and infrastructure capabilities. My work centered on developing robust data pipelines and warehouse
architectures that supported both structured and unstructured data, ensuring seamless data flow and reliability across systems. I partnered with client teams to align data strategy with business goals, guiding their transition to scalable, high-performance cloud environments. I also implemented data validation, governance, and quality assurance frameworks to maintain data integrity and security, while collaborating with analysts to ensure the infrastructure effectively supported advanced analytics and reporting needs.

enhance scalability and performance. I also championed Agile delivery practices within the SAFe framework, strengthening collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
Corewell Health
Over more than five years at Corewell Health, I advanced through four progressively senior roles, ultimately serving as a Senior Application Developer on the data warehousing team. I began in database specialist and BI-focused positions, building and optimizing secure, HIPAA- compliant data solutions that supported clinical and operational decision-making across the organization. As I moved into data engineering, data science and application development, I led the design and implementation of scalable pipelines, integration frameworks, and analytics
platforms that improved data integrity, withing the reporting warehouse team. During my tenure, I onboarded while I started with the Cerner EMR I played a key role in supporting the Nexus transition into Epic, helping modernize critical workflows and data structures. I also contributed to enterprise-scale efforts tied to the acquisitions of Lakeland and Beaumont Health Systems, ensuring data continuity and system stability through periods of significant organizational change. Across each promotion, I consistently delivered measurable value by strengthening architecture, mentoring team members, and building reliable, forward-looking solutions that positioned the organization for growth and innovation.
What Josh Does Best
Whether you're navigating a cloud native transformation, optimizing a data platform that’s outgrown itself, building business intelligence that actually drives decisions, or automating the manual processes slowing your teams down, I’m here to help.
I focus on building systems that deliver measurable impact. At Cedar, I integrated Clearview Cancer, Clearway Pain Solutions, and Consensus Health into a unified post visit payment experience designed to simplify patient billing, accelerate open A/R, improve collections workflows, and reduce administrative burden across millions of payment plans. That initiative alone drove over $1M in new revenue.
In parallel, I architected a cloud native AWS platform at Geisinger Health and led a population health migration strategy at Bon Secours Mercy Health, helping modernize data foundations to support long term scalability and performance.
I’ve also executed large scale cloud migrations, including moving St. Luke’s University Health Network from legacy on prem SQL Server infrastructure into a modern Azure Databricks environment.
If your organization is facing a major transformation, a modernization effort that feels stuck, or simply needs someone who can turn strategy into execution, let’s connect.

Josh is an amazing guy with very good technical skills. Had the opportunity to work with him on spinning up a new data platform using Databricks at St. Luke’s. His in-depth knowledge of the Databricks features, ETL concepts and patterns helped us in standing up the platform quickly and with data transformation pipelines comprising of high quality code that would require very little maintenance going forward.

Josh is one of those individuals who would immediately make a positive impact at any organization. If I were to start a company - any kind of company - I would try to make Josh my first hire because I am yet to come across a time where we had a problem that Josh wasn't able to provide multiple potential solutions for.
He's so well organized, has fantastic technical skills, learns very quickly, and is one of the most driven people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I've also learned so much thanks to Josh's healthcare industry knowledge. I would highly endorse Josh for any role.
